6 reasons we’re pumped for Antiskeptic’s show

Melbourne punk rock band, Antiskeptic are back after ‘disbanding’ in March 2008 with a new crowd funded album, Stare Down The Ocean. They play Newcastle’s Small Ballroom on  September 26.

It’s been 6 years since the band hit the road for a national tour, so we thought it was appropriate to share 6 reasons why we’re pumped for their show.

1 – Their release Stare Down the Ocean was funded entirely independently though crowdfunding site Pozible and a grant from Arts Victoria

2 – The video for their new single is kick arse

3 – The band originally formed in 1999 at the back of a record store. We think that’s pretty cool

4 – They’ve been rehearsing their arses off

5 – We want to hear their song Hallelujah which often goes for over 10 minutes when they play it live.

6 – We’re giving you the chance to win a double pass to the show and a copy of their new album. Check our Facebook page this week.
