Hang on to your hats, pop fans.
Ex-pat Aussie sensation 5 Seconds Of Summer is heading back to home soil later this year and Newcastle is on the agenda!
The Youngblood hitmakers will be doing their thing with an all-ages, outdoor show at the Bar On the Hill on Wednesday 2 December as part of their No Shame tour.
The run is named after their current single which is lifted from their soon-to-be-released fourth studio album from the Sydney-born pop-rockers who now call LA home.
The band – Luke Hemmings, Michael Clifford, Calum Hood, and Ashton Irwin – first rose to international fame with their self-titled debut record while subsequent efforts Sounds Good Feels Good (2015) and Youngblood (2018) continued the upward trajectory with both slabs debuting at number one on the ARIA charts.
The boys have been recognised with an array of prestigious plaudits including an American Music Award, a People’s Choice Award, two iHeartRadio Music Awards, eight MTV European Music Awards, five ARIA Awards, two APRA, and two MTV Video Music Awards.
The band most recently played to a whopping crowd at the recent Fire Fight benefit gig and were last seen on Australian stages last year at the special Friends Of Friends gig with Amy Shark and Genesis Owusu to raise money for Blacktown Youth Services Association.
