Some of the best new talent on the Australian comedy scene will be bringing the laughs to 5 Sawyers next week for the Comedy Headline Series.
This time around, funnyman John Cruckshank will headline proceedings and is sure to elicit more than his fair share of chuckles.
Dubbed “spectacularly funny” by the Herald Sun, John has been making quite a name for himself for his laid-back approach and clever, sharp and well-timed jokes.
Muswellbrook-born musical comedian Sarah Gaul, who now splits her time between Newcastle and Sydney, will be bringing her unique and utterly hilarious brand of comedy cabaret to proceedings. If you saw Sarah perform on the ABC’s Tonightly with Tom Ballard, you’s know she is a talent not to be missed.
Also on the bill is Raw Comedy state finalist and Adelaide Comedy Award winner Marcel Blanch De-Wilt who has shared stages from Newcastle to London with the likes of Arj Barker, Dave Hughes and Tom Ballard.
The night will be MCd by Jen Carnovale, who has been described as “lighting up the stage with her bubbling wit and sharp derision.”
The Comedy at 5 Sawyers Headline Series is on Thursday 18 April. Tickets are selling like hotcakes for this one so get them here.
