Comedian Matty B is bringing his new solo show/one man play to the Royal Exchange, Newcastle on Dec 11 and 12. We asked him, and Neville Peters, the main character in the story of Flanno Worries to give us five reason why Novocastrians should check out the show.
Number 1
Matty: Well, it’s a really exciting, fresh new show that has pointed me in a different direction.
Neville: You artsy bloody wanker, no one gives a shit about your direction. All they need to know is that it’s about flanno.
Number 2
Matty: I’m a Newcastle boy. A lot of comedy fans in Newcastle would have seen my stand up. This is a chance for people to see a different side to my writing and performance.
Neville: What kind of a weak streak of piss are you? Just tell them it’s a show about flanno.

Matty: The Royal Exchange is a great venue. It has a wonderful, unique and intimate atmosphere that will be perfect for the show.
Neville: For fucks sake, it’s a fucking show about fucking flanno.

Matty: It’s good to get out of the house and support the arts.
Neville: Not if your house is made of flanno. Or you fill a bath up with flanno and have a flanno bath.

Matty: I haven’t had a drink in Newcastle in too long so I will be hitting The Lass afterwards which I am really looking forward to. Everyone who comes to the show is most welcome to join, if it goes really well I might even end up at The Kent.
