Cosplay and pop culture at Central Coast Comicon

The Central Coast will welcome back otaku from all over the state for the annual Comicon, later this month.

It’s the first Central Coast Comicon since the 2020 event was cancelled due to Covid restrictions on people gathering indoors.

The annual celebration of everything pop culture is the major fundraiser for Regional Youth Support Services Inc, which has been offering practical support to people aged 12 to 25 years living on the Central Coast for over 3 decades.

Open to people of all ages, and inclusive of all abilities, this year’s Comicon promises a stack of interactive experiences, attractions and all-day entertainment.

Another big attraction of this year’s Central Coast Comicon is the after-party.

Held at the Central Coast Leagues Club, the Comicon after-party promises a night of cosplay and entertainment with DJ Master Yoda spinning the decks, Johnny Devilseed and Old Man Rubes rocking a Blues Bros set and tabletop and video gaming. It is an 18+ event.

Tickets to the after-party are just $15 and include food and entertainment.

The 2022 Central Coast Comicon will roll into The Entertainment Grounds at West Gosford on Saturday, 28 May. Tickets and more information about the event can be found at
