One of Australia’s most celebrated bands, Thirsty Merc will bring their Electric Summer tour to Belmont 16s this November.

Hot on the heels of their sold-out 20 Good Years anniversary shows, the Aussie rockers are back on the road playing to packed rooms once again.

Formed in 2002, the band has been a staple of the Australian music landscape for over two decades, delivering a string of iconic hits and earning themselves five ARIA nominations.

With over 250,000 albums sold, including one double platinum and one platinum release, Thirsty Merc knows how to craft a tune that sticks with you. If the name doesnโ€™t ring a bell, songs like In The Summertime, Someday Someday, and 20 Good Reasons certainly will.

“We reckon the Aussie summer combined with great music is the most fun you can have on Earth,โ€ Lead singer, Rai Thistlethwayte said.

“As a band with over 20 years of experience, we feel so fortunate and grateful to be able to plug our instruments in, harness the electricity in the air and continue to perform for our legendary fans and listeners.”

Whether you’re a long-time fan or a new Thirsty Merc devotee this show promises all the singalongs, energy, and feel-good moments youโ€™d expect from one of Australiaโ€™s most enduring live acts.

You can catch Thirsty Merc at Belmont 16s on Saturday 23 November. For show info and tickets visit trybooking.com.
