A Beresfield resident will join a string of locals who have won big over the last two weeks.
The retiree discovered she had struck gold with a $100,000 win in the recent Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot, which took place on Thursday.
“One hundred thousand dollars! Oh my god. I love you,” the woman told a Lucky Lotteries representative.
“That’s wonderful. You’ve made my day. You’ve made my whole year! I could just give you a million hugs. I need to lie down and have a Panadol. T
“Thankfully I wasn’t driving when you called. Wait until I tell my children! I’ll have to wait for them to finish work, so I might just sit here and cry while I wait. Thank you so much! I’ve been a bit down lately.”
The fortunate winner plans to share her prize with her family and allocate some funds for home renovations, possibly in the garage or the kitchen.
The winning ticket, featuring one random number, was purchased at Greenhills Newsagency.
Brendah Kavanagh, the owner of Greenhills Newsagency, and her team are overjoyed to have sold a winning ticket and wish the winner all the best.
“It’s always very exciting to sell a winning ticket,” Brendah said
“We sold a division one ticket in Saturday Lotto a couple of months ago. Maybe that was the start of a winning streak for us! All the best to our fortunate winner. We hope they enjoy celebrating with their newfound fortune.”
