Hall of Fame Legends come to Newcastle

For the past 50 years the legendary Monroe Powell has been a recording and touring lead vocalist with internationally acclaimed groups. Firstly with The Dominoes, but by far is most recognised as lead vocalist of The Platters. The Platters will perform their many, many hits at Wests New Lambton on Wednesday November 5 and Hexham Bowling Club, Thursday November 6.

Perch Creek to showcase new album

Australian band Perch Creek is back from their highly successful Europe/UK/Canadian tour and are set to bring their high energy and eclectic blend of delight to The Australian East Coast including Newcastle at Lizottes on Saturday 11th October with their Coming Home Tour. They play Lizotte’s Newcastle on October 11.

Madusa comes to town

Newcastle is being treated to a guest appearance from the female star of the MONSTER JAM world, Madusa  -and her 5 tonne, hot pink MADUSA stunt truck –  when the Queen of Carnage visits the city’s Wheeler Place (bet Hunter and King St) tomorrow, Tuesday September 30 from 11am-2pm .  Madusa is in town to unveil the works of art of students from the Vehicle Painting apprenticeship at Newcastle’s Hunter TAFE and Novocastrians are invited to meet the power woman of Monster Jam.

Jumpsuit is back

American Post Hardcore/ Pop Punk outfit The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus are gearing up to grace our shores once more, following sold out shows around the country last year. This time around RJA will be bringing out friends Hawthorn Heights (US), who will be celebrating the tenth anniversary of their breakthrough album ‘The Silence in Black and White’.

Anvil announces venue for their Newcastle show

Its time for some metal on metal so turn it up for the one true hope in hell as ANVIL make their way to Newcastle’s Cambridge Hotel on Monday the 10th of November.
