It’s been just over a year since Thirsty Merc toured their ‘AAA: Acoustic Anniversary Album’ with a show at Wests New Lambton. Now they’re hitting the road again to showcase a new single and road test tracks from their new forthcoming album.

Thirsty Merc are still excited to be making music. The band have just finished the recording of their fourth studio album, Shifting Gears with the first single, ‘The Good Life’, going to radio on 31 July.

“We’ve haven’t really stopped since 2002, and being around for over a decade, we’ve got lots more experience than when we started. We’ve also got still got loads of energy, and we want to harness that energy to work hard, around the clock, to continue touring and making good music.” Vocalist, songwriter and co-founder, Rai Thistlethwayte said.
