The Myall River Festival is back for another year, and organisers say it’s shaping up to be bigger and better than the last! On October 31 the Tea Gardens Riverfront will be filled with activity- including market stalls, music, a fishing competition and much more.
The new and improved Watertop Obstacle Course contest with a first prize of $1000 will be a major draw for this year’s event. Participants will run their way through a variety of challenges over the water, including the barrel run and rope ladder climb. Completion times will be recorded and the fastest participant will take home the cash. There are some conditions of entry to the Obstacle Course event which can be found here.
The celebration will continue into the night with a fire installation and performers, water illuminations, lantern displays and a fireworks display.
Other attractions on the day include The Great Duck Derby, water sports demonstrations, emergency services raft making competition and a watercraft expo.
