September 4 sees The Italian Tenors, starring Sabino Gaita, Mirko Provini And Evans Tonon play the Starlight room at Wests in New Lambton. We caught up with Evans Tonon last week to find out what we can expect.

“We perform a lot of famous Italian songs, but we add our own style to them” Evans tells us.

“The three of us have very proud Italian heritage, and a love of Italian music. These songs are timeless but our interpretations make them exciting and accessible for new audiences”.

With their personality and their quintessential Italian charms, the three talented opera singers have no problem winning the hearts of their audience.

“Yes it is true that Italians are known as great lovers, and I’m sure that adds to our appeal. We do have a lot of fun with it”.

The tour will make the first time in Australia for Evans.

“I hear you have many beautiful beaches in Australia, so I want to see those”, he tells us.

Tickets for the September 4 show are now on sale via the Wests New Lambton website.
