Local Music School, Rosie’s School Of Rock have launched a new music based mentoring program called, Girls Rock. Ambassador Sarah McLeod from The Superjesus will meet with Rosies’ ‘Girls Rock’ students on the 21st of August for a jam at soundcheck before her show at Lizottes later that night.

As the dynamic lead singer & guitarist with iconic Australian rock four piece, The Superjesus, and a successful solo artist in her own right, Sarah McLeod has covered a lot of ground in the Music Industry. Be it performing live in front of thousands, selling over 200,000 records, winning 3 ARIA Awards or receiving national & international radio airplay. Sarah is an inspiring artist and is the perfect role model for Girls Rock.

The program will provide young women with mentors who are positive female role models from both the Music Industry & Corporate World, who are looking to give back to the next generation of female musicians and leaders, offering their inspiration, advice, support & industry contacts. Whether a female touring musician drops into one of our weekly workshops for a chat or jam, or our students catch a soundcheck to see the musician live in action, you can bet it will be sure to leave a mark.

You can find out more about the program by visiting the school’s website http://rosiesschoolofrock.com/girls-rock
