Sydney based Psychedelic, Voodoo-Blues 6-piece, The Double Shadows are set to play at the Lass O’Gowrie Hotel in Wickham this Saturday 30th May.
This will be the band’s first Newcastle show since their Hitchhiker’s Rhyme East Coast tour and will feature local artists The Hedonists, Davey Craddock and James Thomson.
Coming off the back of a packed out EP launch at Enmore’s Sly Fox hotel, the Sydney based Psychedelic Voodoo-Blues 6-piece will take to the Lass O’Gowrie’s stage at 10pm. The band will be joined by local artists The Hedonists, Davey Craddock and James Thomson.
The band’s first single released from their current EP simply entitled RED, Hitchhiker’s Rhyme, debuted at No.1 on the AMRAP regional chart and their follow up single, I’m Gone, has an much anticipated release date of June 10th.
RED was recorded at Studios 301 in Sydney with producer Jack Prest (True Vibenation, Twin Caverns, Future Love Hangover). Most of the EP was also tracked live with very little over-dubbing.
The Double Shadows take to the stage at 10pm.
