Sydney quintet, Bad Pony will bring their brand of indie rock to The Small Ballroom on December 5 as part of their East Coast ‘Limbo’ tour.
The duo behind Bad Pony received online success with their self-produced single “Sucker” in 2013 and went on to put together a group of experienced multi-instrumentalists and former lead singers.
This concoction of members equates to a well-executed, high-energy and all-involved live show with each member playing numerous instruments, harmonising and chanting. Young fronts the band with his distinctive voice, clever melodies and an array of mismatched drums and cymbals, capitalising on his background as a drummer to carry out main percussion parts.
Kicking off their tour in style the boys will bring their electric live show to Red Deer Festival in October playing alongside acts like Frenzal Rhomb and Andy Bull. After Red Deer the marathon 14 date tour extravaganza will be hitting almost everywhere along the East Coast including their gig at The Small Ballroom
