Hundreds of Women across Newcastle and the Hunter Valley are expected to march down Beaumont Street to assert their right to live a life free from all forms of violence; whether it be in the home, at work, school, or on the streets.
This year’s event will feature a number of speeches, live entertainment, street stalls and food vendors – with the event kicking off at 6pm, and the march starting at 6:45pm.
Reclaim The Night Newcastle speaker’s include:
Aunty Sandra Griffin
Priscilla Fisher from End Rape On Campus Australia
Jan Mcdonald, the CEO of Carrie’s Place
