Sydney band, Tonight Alive will hit the stage at The Cambridge Hotel this Friday night. They bring with them the winners of a special competition the band ran looking for local acts to support them at each stop on the tour.
The competition had one major rule, one member of the band had to be female. After much deliberating Tonight Alive chose local band Eat your heart out.
Led by frontwoman Caitlin Henry, Eat Your Heart Out has been making waves since the release of their debut EP Distance Between Us in May 2015. Since their formation in 2012, the band has found themselves onstage alongside national and international acts such as Hands Like Houses, Trophy Eyes, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Knuckle Puck, Real Friends, and more.
With their signing to Fearless Records and the release of Carried Away, Eat Your Heart Out is ready to introduce three dynamic tracks that place a strong emphasis on musical and vocal melodies that are gritty yet hypnotizing enough to get stuck in your head.
This Tonight Alive tour is on the back of a massive run of shows for the band including spots at the Slam Dunk Festival in the UK. The band also recently signed a contract with the label UNFD.
In a recent interviews Tonight Alive have hinted at a release date for their new albums called Underworld. Which is penciled for release on January 12 2018.
Tickets for the show are now on sale via Ticketbooth.
