Newcastle Pokemon Go Walk this Sunday!

Newcastle Live -

A group of local Pokemon Go players have organised an informal “Newcastle City Walk” that will take in some of the city’s hottest Pokemon catching spots. The walk will kick off in the park area opposite The Happy Wombat on Hunter Street at 2pm this Sunday (July 17).

Those wishing to fuel up for the walk should flash their Pokemon Go app at The Happy Wombat’s Bar for a 20% discount, before joining the other walkers.

The walk will commence at 2pm from the park, when the group will slowly wander along Hunter Street dropping lures along the way.

There’ll be breaks at Blue Door – Wheeler Place, Crown & Anchor Hotel – Hunter Street and  Customs House Hotel before the group wander up to Nobby’s Beach.  Those brave enough in the winter chill, can head up to the breakwall, where we hear you can catch a Pikachu!

From the beach, the group will double back to Queens Wharf Hotel, where the Wharf Life Party will be happening.

This is a friendly, all inclusive event, with everyone welcome, including families.
