Cessnock Newcastle Permanent Carols in the Park

Enjoy, a superb evening in the lovely Hunter Valley. Come sing along with an array of local entertainers, shop at the market stalls and stay for the wonderful fireworks to celebrate the festive season. Gates open from 4.30pm and Carols commence from 6.30pm. Entry is free.

Wallsend Community Carols

Wallsend Baptist Church presents its annual Community Carols on Saturday 12 December 2015 at Federal Park Wallsend. Pre Event Entertainment commencing at 6pm with the Maxi-Jazz Dance Studio and THE AMAZING JONO. Main Event at 7pm with all your favourite Christmas Carols. ARNIE’S SHACK will be our special guests this year to entertain all the kids. A great family night.

Lake Macquarie Newcastle Permanent Carols by Candlelight

Come along to Lake Macquarie and the Hunter’s largest Carols by Candlelight. Bring the family and a picnic to relax by the lake and be entertained by fantastic talent including the lovely Sara DeBono and local superstar Morgan Evans.This year the Carols will commence at 6.00pm following a festive day of family-friendly activities in the park from midday. Entry is free.

Carols Under The Stars at Anna Bay

The Anna Bay “Carols Under The Stars” is celebrating its seventh year with a 21st Century re-enactment of the Christmas story combined with everyone’s favourite Christmas Carols. This year’s event will feature the very popular camel rides, face painting, jumping castles and other kid’s activities. The Carols and Nativity Play include real camels, donkeys and sheep. Festivities begin on Thursday 17 December from 5.30pm with live performances from local musicians, as well as lots of activities and great food for all the family. The highlight of the evening, the Carols and Nativity Play, will begin at 7.30pm. So, bring your family, friends and a picnic rug and celebrate Christmas with your community.

Newcastle Herald Newcastle Permanent Carols by Candlelight

Join us in the spectacular grounds of King Edward Park for a magical evening of Carols. Drawing more than 15,000 people to the event last year, this year’s evening will be packed full of performances by fantastic local artists, including crowd favourites Adam Scicluna and Hunter Singers, carnival rides, Newcastle Permanent’s free photo booth and of course Santa! Event starts at 5.30pm and Carols will commence around 7.00pm. Get in early to secure a great spot and take advantage of free parking in King Street Car Park with free shuttle service from 5.30pm to 10.00pm. Entry is free.

Christmas Carols in Lambton Park

Christmas Carols in Lambton park is an annual, family friendly, community celebration of Christmas held in beautiful Lambton Park, NSW. The night starts with a picnic and christmas fair from 5.00pm. All your favourite Carols kick off on stage at 7.00pm. And we finish the night with a great fireworks display around 9.00pm. Don’t forget to get there EARLY to make sure you get a good spot!

Carols By The Beach

Each year, on the Sunday before Christmas, the Merewether and Newcastle communities come together for Carols by the Beach! Held at Empire Park, Carols by the Beach is the opportunity for families and friends to gather, at one of the most wonderful times of the year and sing carols together at the top of their lungs! Bring your picnic rugs and make your way down on Sunday 20th of December to Empire Park for a night of carols, fireworks, and activities for the kids!

Christmas Eve Carols by Candlelight at The Vintage

This year’s host is Matt Percell, one of Australia’s rising stars, who and has shared the stage with some of the country’s biggest artists – Jimmy Barnes & Renee Geyer, Evermore and Stan Walker to name a few. So BYO picnic rug and join us on the fairway lawn with dulcet tones to the fore! After the carols, there will be a special Christmas Eve movie screening under the stars of ‘The Santa Clause’. So make sure to grab a spot on the Fairway Lawn, stock up on drinks and snacks from our candy bar and enjoy the movie!
