Ne Obliviscaris will be launching their new album ‘Citadel’ at the Cambridge Hotel on Friday the 28th November.

Formed in 2003, Ne Obliviscaris (pronounced; Nay Ob-li-vis-kar-is) has since gone on to widespread critical acclaim throughout Australia with many hailing their unique sound, intense live shows as ground breaking.

It’s been just over two years since the band released their debut  ‘Portal Of I’, and fans have been eagerly awaiting the release of the new material. The band have raised just over $80,000 for the production of the new album via the crowd funding site Pozible which has set  a new Australian record for music related crowd funding.

A 6 piece metal band consisting of violin, 2 guitars, bass, drums, clean and extreme vocals, Ne Obliviscaris Ccreate music of many extremes. With compositions often exceeding ten minutes in length, Ne Obliviscaris is at times very technical and complex and at others simple and subtle, creating an extremely original brand of metal that defies normal categorisation.

The band will be bringing along special guests Beyond Creation all the way from Canada to round off a night of pure awesomeness. Tickets are on sale from 9am Wednesday, August 27. Visit the Cambridge’s website for more info.
