Tassie punks Luca Brasi have announced an Australian tour for August in celebration of their latest album. The 8-date tour sees them travel around the country, and stop in at The Cambridge Hotel on August 18th.
Their latest album If This Is All We’re Going To Be was released last week to a huge response; the sonically mature and confessional 3rd LP debuted at #18 in the ARIA Albums Chart and was picked up as triple j’s feature album of the week. On the day the album was launched Luca Brasi even played a house show for one lucky fan.
The ‘If This Is All We’re Going To Be’ tour will be stopping in Newcastle on Thursday August 18. Joining them will be Moose Blood all the way from the UK. The band were set to come to Australia on the failed Soundwave lineup, but are instead returning for a set of relatively intimate club shows. Also on the bill are Adelaide party punks The Hard Aches, who are touring ahead of the release of their highly anticipated sophmore album.
Before Luca Brasi can set foot on their own tour, they have to take care of some buisness with The Smith Street Band in June; that being a massive sold out tour around the country joined by Joelistics and Jess Locke Band.
