A regular at various venues around Newcastle, The Hunter and Central Coast, Jake draws inspiration from all forms of music and prides himself on achieving a great sound acoustically (no backing tracks). His unique style, evident in his original album release of 2013 draws a smile from all crowds and receives nothing but rave reviews.
My Friend Rupert
Ellen and Matt first met at a local open mic night where they both performed solo sets. A short conversation later the pair agreed to try their different styles together, and arranged a jam for the following week. With both individuals bringing a different influence into the mix, they discovered a unique and exciting sound that they were eager to share.
With Matt currently studying song writing at the Newcastle Conservatorium of Music, and Ellen having a musical background of jazz vocals, ‘My Friend Rupert’ is sure to deliver an entertaining mixture of covers and originals suitable for any event.
