Latham’s Grip are headed to town on May 3rd in support of the release of not one, but two singles.
Hailing from the South Coast of NSW, Latham’s Grip will be releasing their second EP “Hey Senorita” in late May, featuring the band’s current singles “Don’t Call Me Daht” and “I Wanna Go”. Since launching their debut EP in 2012 the band has become known for their unique brand of groovy alternative rock, supported by an energetic and fun live performance. They have shared stages with the likes of British India, Sticky Fingers, Fait Accompli, and Gay Paris.
Sydney’s “The Darkened Seas” produce a tour de force of old skool rock n roll sound. Dysfunctional yet creative, cohesive yet untamed; they had great success with the national tour of their first EP, received upon release by a packed out Annandale Hotel. These four musicians are fast becoming renowned for their balls–to-the-wall frenzied live show, having supported the likes of The Snowdroppers, Papa Pilko & The Bin Rats and Kira Puru & The Bruise. With the release of their second EP ‘Your Side Of Town’ set for late June, come and see these love-sick rockers in the flesh.
Sean Degan and possibly other supports will also be joining Latham’s Grip and The Darkened Seas for what is sure to be a killer show at Hamilton Station on Saturday 3rd May. The gig kicks off after 8pm at the Hamilton Station Hotel, and the band will be joined by The Darkened Seas as well as Sean Degan.
