Kristy James’ desert 5

Newcastle Live -

Kristy James has been playing country music since she was 11. She’s already received praise from industry heavy weights in Hollywood and her crowd funded EP has been well received by fans and critics alike. Kristy has taken time out for us to name the 5 albums she couldn’t live without.

THE EAGLES – VERY BEST OF | I’ve always loved the Eagles, they have been very influential to my song writing.Don Henley is one of my all time favourite singers.

ALANIS MORISSETTE –  JAGGED LITTLE PILL | This came out when I was in high school, again another huge influence on my music. He music is so raw and because of that I love it!

THE ESSENTIAL JOHN FARNHAM | I picked this because it has pretty much every hit and more, John Farnham is one of my favourite performers.

KEITH URBAN – DEFYING GRAVITY | Every song could’ve been a number 1. You can tell he was in a happy place when he wrote it.

RASCAL FLATTS – ME AND MY GANG | This album reminds me of my partner. It was the first thing he ever gave me.
