Since landing on the Melbourne scene in January 2012, it hasn’t taken long for rock fans to catch on to King Of The North. The duo delivers a powerful and engaging live show with a sound many regard as a new frontier for the guitar/ drums rock format. The “3 from 1 guitar technique” is the cause of this new frontier. The idea was pioneered by Andrew Higgs and has since earned Higgsy a listing in the 100th issue of Australian Guitar magazine’s “25 future legends of the guitar”. Drummer Danny Leo was a Paiste feature artist at 2013’s Ultimate Drummers Weekend.

KOTN released their debut album ‘Sound The Underground’ on March 14th with a 33 date Australian tour to launch it. The debut has been marked “Album Of The Week” by Triple M nationally and receiving rave reviews across the country. The first single ‘Wanted’ has been added to the rotation on Triple M’s national evening show called “New Rock At Night” and has been hand picked by BMW for the launch of their 2 series, which began airing in March. The ad will be in cinemas, on TV, radio, online and in BMW stores worldwide.
