The Christmas Race Nights will also feature junior driver races. Think kids on sulkies being pulled by ponies. Yes, it’s that awesome. And kids have the chance give the ponies a pat after the race too.

Your ticket gets you a reserved table for the night in Pacers Restaurant. The venue is a fully enclosed tiered grandstand style restaurant with uninterrupted views of the track. It’s a great way to spend an evening.

Everyone attending the November Christmas Race events will enjoy live music from Mick Freeman. Mick has supported many Australian Acts including, 'John Paul Young', 'Silver Studs', 'Ian Turpy' etc, and has worked together with many other quest performers and comedians, including 'Johnny Carfield' and 'Trini Lopez'.

The Newcastle Harness Club is tucked in behind McDonald Jones Stadium. If you're driving or catching an Uber, point your GPS to 294 Turton Rd, New Lambton NSW 2304.

$65 per person includes three course traditional Christmas Buffet including hot & cold meats, seafood, salads and vegetables.

General admission is also available. Adults are just $10 with Children under 16 free. Canteen & Public Bar facilities are open to GA ticket holders. And If you get a GA ticket, make sure you get trackside for the full racing experience. The rush of the horses going past is something else.
