With their single “Beware the Dog” climbing into the US top 20 alternative radio charts The Griswolds are just getting started.
The band will be heading home in October to give fans a taste of their new album which has been met with critical acclaim.
The video for “Beware the Dog” has set blogs alight and hit around 100,000 people in just a couple of weeks. You can see why for yourself below.
The song has been a triple j staple throughout this year and also hit the top five in the Hype Machine global blog charts. Recorded under the guidance of producer Tony Hoffer (The Kooks, Beck, M83, Ladyhawke), the album titled “Be Impressive” is living up to its name with early reviews citing the juxtaposition between the album’s party vibe and its poignant lyrics showing a depth that continues to provide over repeated listens.
The band will be taking it round Australia with ten shows hitting six states and territories celebrating the album release. They play The Small Ballroom as part of that tour on Thursday the 9th of October. Tickets are available via The Small Ballroom website.
