English rocker, Billy Idol is heading to the Hunter next year as part of his first concert tour since 2002. Also on the bill for the March 28 A Day On The Green are Cheap Trick, The Angels & Choirboys.
Idol will hit the stage on this night with a band that includes long-time collaborator and lead-guitarist Steve Stevens, and supported by Cheap Trick and Aussie legends, The Angels & Choirboys.
Billy Idol’s tour announcement coincides with the release of his long-awaited and self-written autobiography Dancing With Myself. The memoir was released worldwide this month along with an album of new material, the first since 2005.
Delivered with the same in-your-face attitude and fire his fans have embraced for decades, Dancing With Myself offers eye-opening anecdotes full of drugs, sex, and rock ‘n’ roll that only Billy Idol can tell.
Tickets go on sale for the event at 10am on Thursday October 23 via ticketmaster.com.au
