The BRAVO passenger choir gives you the chance to sing alongside award-winning performers like Todd McKenny and Teddy Tahu Rhodes all while cruising the Pacific on the Radiance Of The Seas.
It’s all part of the 2018 BRAVO Cruise Of Performing Arts, and we spoke to the cruise’s musical director Guy Noble to find out a little more.
“We started the passenger choir a few years ago, and it was so popular that we had to turn people away,” Guy told us over the phone during our recent interview.
“Well, this sprung up a rival choir on board the same cruise, and the rest is history. It’s a huge part of the BRAVO Cruise now, and it’s become one of the real highlights each year.”
Over the years since its maiden cruise in 2014, BRAVO has become one of the most popular events under the Choose Your Cruise brand, which is also responsible for Cruisin’ Country, Cruise N Groove and Rock The Boat. It regularly sells out well in advance and sees many cruise-goers returning annually. It isn’t just the passengers heading back onboard either, many of the artists are BRAVO veterans and continue to add the cruise to their touring schedule. In fact, Teddy Tahu Rhodes was one of the headliners on the very first BRAVO cruise and returns by popular demand. Other illustrious artists such as renowned singer and conductor Jonathon Welch (from Choir Of Hard Knocks fame) and all-round musical entertainer Guy Noble return again for the 2018 cruise.
“It’s a great experience for both the artists and the guests. The artists mingle with the guests when they’re not performing, and there are some real friendships forged during the cruise that last a lifetime.”
