This weekend (7 – 8 April) the Hunter Valley will come alive for the 13th year of “A Little Bit of Italy in Broke”.
11 venues in the Broke will take part in showcasing the region’s diverse wine offerings, along with olive products and the growers, winemakers.
Here’s a list we found on the Broke Wine Region Facebook page that outlines how to make the most of your #italyinbroke weekend!
Download the event program at http://broke.wine/LBOIprogram before the weekend.
Pre-book your shuttle bus tickets via https://broke.wine/shuttle. If you’re coming on Sunday, organise any tours and transport in advance.
Call the venues and book your place for any workshops, activities you wish to partake in.
Grab your Zafferano Glassware – design Federico de Majo #italyinbroke glasses from the main tent in the village or the venues directly (remember, $2 from each glass purchased goes to the Singleton Cancer Appeal).
If your lunch and dinner options need to be booked, contact the venues directly to avoid disappointment.
Take lots, and lots, and lots of photos (and videos!) and share them on social media using the hashtag #italyinbroke. Also tag Broke Wine Region on Facebook or @brokewineregion on Instagram, and we’ll share a few of our favourites as well! Keep an eye on the Broke Wine Region social accounts for photos and live streaming from the venues throughout the weekend.
HAVE FUN! There’s so much more to A Little Bit of Italy in Broke – 2018 than simply food and wine, so get involved with the activities and workshops and have a great time!
