The Olive Tree Market will pop up at Maitland Regional Art Gallery on September 23rd with a Spring Seasonal Market. Discover a curated collective of independent artists, designers, makers and gourmet foodies alongside a line-up of talented musicians playing live music all day.
Highlights will include artist Emma Kidd with her quirky illustrations of Monsters, sea creatures and imaginary lands, textured ceramic home wares from Hell Wench, resin jewellery in stunning shades of blue from Oshka Black, Miranda Earle’s hand screen printed textiles, with detailed art nouveau floral prints, which adorn her range of clutch purses and women’s accessories, guys fashion and organic teas from Jemidee, women’s fashion featuring Japanese Fabrics from the Niki Tree, leather home wares and accessories from Meme, Terrariums from White Space Craft, flowers from Hello Lovely Florals and lots more!
Stop in for morning tea and savour a pastry from Blackbird Artisan bakery, amazing eclairs from Choux Patisserie, and handmade chocolates from Myrtle and Pepper Fine Chocolates, coffee from Sprocket or stay for lunch and enjoy delicious food including middle eastern cuisine from Zaytoona or Mexican from Opie Funk under the trees in the chill out area and experience fantastic live local music all day long.
Music will include conservatorium trained musicians Minmosa who have toured world wide with their gypsy jazz repertoire, touring gold coast musician Jaz Haze with his powerful vocals and poetic lyrical style and soulful country inspired tunes from local Maitland duo Dearly Departed.
There will also be a special artists workshop with Inside Jo B- Forage, Flower and Fold Natural Eco Dyeing Workshop-and of course visitors to the market can explore the amazing award winning Maitland Regional Art Gallery.
