King Of Concrete is the peak series of National Skateboarding events in Australia, and will come to Bar Beach on Saturday 16 December where locals will get a chance to mix it with the countries best skaters battling for cash, skate products and Australian Skateboarding Federation National Rankings points.
Bowl skateboarding is a spectacular event with skaters flow through the bowl and grind the lip of a a twelve foot deep bowl as well as fly through the air above head height. King Of Concrete is free to watch and $5 entry in the divisions of Open Mens, Open Womens. Masters (over 40), Under 16 and Under 12.
King of Concrete spans the country and appears at only the highest quality skateparks; Brunswick (VIC), Noble Park (VIC), Torquay (VIC), StKilda (VIC), Geelong (VIC), Prahran (VIC), Newcastle (NSW), Bato Yard, (NSW) Fivedock (NSW), Rosny (TAS), Jingili (NT) and Busselton (WA).
The Australian Skateboarding Federation is the development body for skateboarding in Australia and runs the High Performance Olympic development program for skateboarders gunning for the debut of skateboarding as a medal sport in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
