Floyd Vincent and the Tempe Dogs
5:30 pm - 9:30 pm
Press release for immediate release.
After some cracking gigs in Kyoto Japan and a spot at the Club Crocodile in Tokyo Floyd Vincent is back late July with his Temple Dogs for some shows in Sydney, Newcastle and Katoomba,
It was his first ever trip to Japan and he got to perform his own shows and also hook up with long established Japanese act The Pak Poe band.
“The Club Crocodile is a legendary venue in Shibuya Tokyo. This is a seriously busy part of the city near the famous pedestrian crossing known as the Scramble. It’s one of the busiest crossings in the world. So, getting musical gear in and out of a spot like that is a real challenge. The gigs were really well received though.
I was blown away by the number of people that asked me about the Australian towns that are referenced in my songs. They wanted detailed descriptions after each tune.”
In Tokyo I also got to check out Ochanomizu guitar street. That has been on my bucket list for some time and is the biggest collection of guitars in 500 metres of retail stores. Overall an amazing adventure and I can’t wait to go back.”
