Newcastle musician Grace Turner has just released her new single Angry, along with a live clip of the song performed at Dashville Skyline, filmed and recorded by Sawtooth Studios.
Grace Turner stands out as an original voice in a crowded music scene, with her combination of cut-through lyrics and stormy voice that catches the heart.
The live performance of Angry is being premiered through Newcastle Live for the Sawtooth Studios series “The Dashville Sessions”. This series has already featured the incredible performance by Melbourne’s The Tesky Brothers and has many outstanding artists to follow. It was filmed over the weekend of Dashville’s Cosmic Country Weekender 2017 and captured a slice of the immense talent present at this gathering.
“It’s about being frustrated, not knowing what direction to take and tearing apart your whole life to try and figure it out, in the hope you’ll find something different. It took me a long time to piece it together and find the right feel for it. I am really exited about the directions it’s taken.” Grace said.
This is the first release since Turners EP ‘Long Way Home’ in 2015. Since then she has toured interstate three times, performing at festivals Mullum Fest, Happy Wanderer and been working hard on a back log of recordings soon to be released in early 2018.
