After four years in the Hunter Valley, the CMC Rocks country music festival has decided to pull up stumps and move the event to Willowbank Raceway in Queensland.
In a statement released today CMC said the new location, about 40 minutes outside of Brisbane, had many advantages over previous venues.
Reasons for the move cited in the statement include; the fact the that Willowbank was only one hour from Brisbane and Gold Coast airports, that there would be more on-site camping space along with a greater number and variety of accommodation options for festival goers in conjunction with a greater variety of quality food and beverage options.
CMC also announced that LADY ANTEBELLUM and TROY CASSAR-DALEY were the first acts to be secured for the 2015 festival with many more artists to be announced over the coming months.
