Lizotte’s Newcastle will host the Variety – the Children’s Charity Comedy Night on Thursday, June 30, in an effort to raise funds for the charity which does amazing work with young children who are sick, disadvantaged or who have special needs, within the Hunter.
The Night will be headlined by the amazingly hilarious Mick Meredith who you would be familiar with from The Footy Show, Stand Up Australia and Triple M. Mick is one of Australia’s most experienced and versatile comedians who has the ability to make anyone laugh with his cheeky laid back attitude.
Newcastle legend Super Hubert, yes that’s right Super Hubert, will also make an appearance on the night. Everyone remembers Super Hubert as the skinny super hero that would galavant around Knights game in the late 90’s, perhaps you even remember him from the Glendale heating warehouse ads.
The Master of Ceremonies for the evening will be Australian Comedian, Andrew Barnett.
Newcastle’s own, Isaac Butterfield will also hit the stage during the show. Isaac’s jokes are not for the faint of heart, but he will make you laugh hard!
This is a great opportunity to eat great food at a great venue and laugh the night away, all whilst raising money for disabled and disadvantaged kids across the hunter.
Plus there is a weekend away on Darling Harbour to win, so grab your tickets now!
