Perth based chick rockers, Legs Electric will bring their blend of all-girl Rock ‘n’ Roll to The Stag & Hunter in Mayfield this Friday night (July 31).
Since forming in late 2012, Legs Electric have quickly gained a reputation as one of Perth’s must-see bands thanks to their ferocious live shows. The band’s style blends contemporary hard rock with the guitar based heavy blues of 70’s arena rock. Legs Electric have become regulars on the Perth club circuit, playing support for both national and international bands including the Supersuckers, the Datsuns, the Bell-Rays, Blues Pills, Palace of the King, Tumbleweed, King of the North and Kadavar.
With a heavy nod to the golden era of 70’s heavy Rock ‘n’ Roll, Legs Electric’s single “Wanna Riot” was produced by Eskimo Joe’s Joel Quartermain.
Although Legs Electric is very much a sisterhood, don’t be distracted by their good looks – these ladies can flat out play. When they hit the stage and Kylie starts pounding the drums, Abby’s bass begins to rumble, Laura’s guitar starts to snarl and Ama’s soulful vocals begin to soar – it’s on.
Once again the guys at the Stag have gone above and beyond with entry to the show 100% FREE!
