As intrinsic to Australia as vegemite Kasey Chambers will celebrate her first solo record in four years with her band for one show only at Wests New Lambton, Sunday 23 November.
Singer, songwriter and storyteller, Kasey Chambers’ new album was produced by American Nick DiDia who is well known for working with acts like Pearl Jam, Bruce Springsteen, The Wallflowers and Powderfinger at Studios 301 in Byron Bay.
The album, called Bittersweet is the first outing for Kasey without her producer, manager and brother and Nash Chambers for the first time.
On the departure Kasey said, “I wanted to have an experience making a record that I had never had before. I wanted to challenge myself and I wanted to be excited”.
The recording features Bernard Fanning , Dan Kelly and Kasey’s father Bill Chambers and was completed in just 7 days in April this year.
Kasey Chambers will perform selections from the album along with her biggest hits at Wests New Lambton, Sunday 23 November.
