Local favourites, Benjalu will play a special show at Lizottes on August 13 in an effort to raise funds for Ronald McDonald House!
With over 500 shows played over the last few years, Benjalu’s cult following is growing. Thanks to their intense work ethic and a flood of summer festival appearances, there’s just no stopping this local act.
Benjalu’s songs are a collaboration of five unique individuals and their diverse musical influences, with some fresh sea spray and sun thrown in, a good dose of melody and a dash of psychedelia.Their live shows always result in a room of sweaty punters, a very happy publican and a host of new friends. Their recordings on the other hand reveal honest lyrics, a knack for vocal harmonies and savvy guitar licks.
They will be supported by local songstress, Karen Soper. Karen is a well- known sartist who certainly knows how to entertain a crowd.
Tickets for the fundraiser are $95.00 per person including dinner, with ‘show only’ tickets also available.
All funds raised on the evening will go to Ronald McDonald House Newcastle.
