It's not everyday you get the chance to chat with one of the world's most influential comedians. But that's exactly what happened when Ben Elton came to town as part of a promotional tour for his latest Australian film, Three Summers.

During our chat Ben told us about the film, explained the importance of arts funding in Australia and gave us a few belly laughs for good measure.

The film gets its public release today and we highly encourage you to get out and see it. We encourage you to see it not only to support local film making, but also because it's a bloody great movie with a few tugs at the old heart strings.
