THE WAYWARD HENRYS + Carl The Bartender + Kate Keighran-Martin

THE WAYWARD HENRYS: Three Singer songwriters in the alt country vein, all heavily influenced by their travels and vagabond spirit. With a less is more approach most songs start out on a Valencia nylon string guitar and don’t venture much past the acoustic state.

BUZZARD MIX & Hey Lady

The Buzzard Mix is a band from Newcastle NSW who create sounds influenced by original Jamaican ska, roots raggae & dub soul. They have a brass front line & powerful vocals, backed by guitar, drums & bass.

ALEX BOWEN + The donkey Browns + The Not Nots

Growing up in the Hunter Valley NSW, Alex began performing on various concert stages at the age of 14 supporting the likes of Paul Kelly, Richard Clapton and finding himself on a number of festival line-ups, quickly becoming a ‘must see performer’ with his powerful blues/rock infused guitar style and soulful voice.

SHAUN KIRK

Shaun’s profile and recognition as a talented performer has steadily grown, supporting artists such as Joe Bonamassa, Beth Hart, Allen Stone, JJ Grey & MOFRO, Big Bill Morganfield (son of the late great Muddy Waters), Diesel, Ash Grunwald and Mia Dyson as well as appearing in the line-up at many of Australia’s top festivals; Woodford Folk Festival, St Kilda Festival, Port Fairy Folk Festival, Queenscliff Music Festival and Byron Bay Bluesfest where he has been billed with the likes of Robert Plant, Taj Mahal, John Mayer, Ben Harper, Bonnie Raitt, Gary Clark Jr and Santana. He was voted the ‘Youth People’s Choice Award’ at the 2012 Blues at Bridgetown Festival, as well as winning the public’s vote for ‘Best New Artist’ at the 2013 St Kilda Festival, substantiating his increasing popularity with the punters.

CHESS RECORDS: Charlie A’Court, Ray Beadle & Chris Wilson

An all-star band has been put together for the special event, under the name of “The Best Of Chess”. Fronted by blues veterans, Ray Beadle, Chris Wilson & Canadian Blues Star Charlie A’Court backed by a powerhouse rhythm section of Rosscoe Clark & Benny Edwards, we’re assured this is going to be one hell of a show!
