Americana, psychedelia and alternative country music

Newcastle Live -

Music

The good people over at the Dashville Skyline office have announced another set of alternative country artists to add to their October festival lineup. The family friendly event to be held over the 3rd and 4th of October promises to showcase Americana music, from it’s beginnings in the 60’s and 70’s, to its widespread influence in todays performing artists.

Part of the artists involvement in the festival is that the festival organisers request them to pick a song from the list of the greatest songs from this ‘golden era’ and perform it at the festival. For which we will compile the recordings and give them to you as a special compilation at the end of the festival to enjoy as many times as you like.

While the festival is family friendly, the arena will be accessible for persons under the age of 18, though they will need to be accompanied by a responsible adult.

The price to camp onsite at the festival is included with your ticket to Dashville. For those new to Dashville, where you set up camp is basically a stones throw from the festival entry, ranging from a good hard throw, to a slight under-armer. Its proper bush too, plenty of shade and space to spread out.
